My style of massage has evolved a lot over the last 17 years. Lately, I place a lot of emphasis on your bodily experience. Pain, both physical and emotional, lives in our bodies. It distorts the map that we have of ourselves. I like to think that I help provide some sensory context, a kind of meditation on your bodily sensations, to give your nerves a little tune up.
Deep relaxation and greater ease of movement often result. I specialize in working with people in chronic pain and/or have PTSD, and I welcome anyone who feels like they would benefit from my work.
Located in the heart of Atlanta, my massage practice is right next to the Atlanta Medical Center. The building was once a dormitory for the nursing school that was here when the hospital was Georgia Baptist.
I am convenient to Downtown Atlanta, Midtown, Old Fourth Ward, and Inman Park.
